Ingredients


  • 8 oz Lo Mein or spaghetti noodles
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbs oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbs brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce or to taste
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbs vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 cup red pepper julienned
  • 1 cup carrots matchstick or julienned
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup Snow peas
  • 1/4 cup green onion sliced
  • 1 Tbs toasted sesame seeds


Instructions


  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, sriracha and cornsstarch, set aside.
  3. Heat a wok or large skillet on med-high heat. Add the oil, then add the garlic and ginger and cook for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  4. Add the vegetables and cook for about 5 minutes, just until they start to soften.
  5. Drain the noodles and add them to the pan.
  6. Add the sauce and stir to combine. Heat for 2-3 minutes until heated through and sauce has slightly thickened.
  7. Sprinkle the green onion and toasted sesame seeds on top and serve.
